Formed in 1992 by Maestro David Junker, Madrigal UnB consists of students from the Music Department of the University of Brasilia along with other Brazilian musicians, and has become one of the leading choral ensembles of Brazil, with international tours, including a concert in Carnegie Hall under the direction of John Rutter.
